The public will take notice that the City of Southport Board of Aldermen will meet on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 3:30 at City Hall, located at 1029 N. Howe Street for the purpose of holding a special informational meeting on the City’s Wastewater Asset Inventory & Assessment Project.
In June of 2017 & 2018, the City received a Wastewater Asset Inventory & Assessment grant totaling $65,000 to map and inventory the City’s Wastewater infrastructure, to evaluate the condition of the infrastructure, and to develop an asset management plan with a capital improvements plan identifying which assets are the highest priority for replacement. The City’s consultant will be presenting the City with the results of the Wastewater AIA Project at this meeting.
