Kids out of school but need something for them to do? Bring them to the museum for maritime adventure with our curator of education! Drop off begins at 9 a.m. and children must be picked up by 5:30 p.m $30 per day. Pack a lunch, snacks, and refillable water bottle. Students 5 to 17 are welcome to attend. All programs are subject to NC state taxes, 10% discount for Family membership and above. Registration closes the day prior at 5 p.m.!

How did we get around before GPS was on our cell phones? Learn the many ways sailors navigated their way through the water. Create your very own nautical chart to show off. Take a field trip to Wrightsville Beach Museum of History to explore the different kinds of waters in our region of North Carolina.
Water/Ways is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the North Carolina Humanities Council and was adapted from an exhibition organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York.
